Since the Angyalfy's and the Versaggi's are related by marriage and my maiden name is Angyafy, I wanted to see the history.
I was looking for Graalfs hits within the internet, and found one at this site. I just have a minor comment wrt the dates tracked in your guest-book: the dates didn't make the y2k change correctly! Never mind. Regards, Heinz Graalfs. ps: a comment to the Versaggi Graalfs family in Austin TX: in 1987 I lived for a 13 months in Austin, too bad that we never met there, I believe your husband contacted my father in Bremen some years ago.
Hi, I am trying to find a friend from the Marine Corps named Frank Versaggio. I know he was living in Dallas Texas previously but I havent been able to locate him for several years now. He is originally from Pen Yan NY.

I am related to the Versaggis! My grandma is Gina Versaggi.
Trista Versaggi sending greetings to all near and distant relatives. I'm Richard Earl Versaggi's daughter(Sheila Reedy). And Frank and Mildred Versaggi are my grandparents. Please respond if you knew them, i was a baby when they passed away. I did meet Great Uncle Brother John a few times, most importantly he spoke at my Uncle Donald Versaggi's funeral (1948-1992). Does anyone know where Lee Versaggi is (Frank's son) or the whereabouts of his two sons who were adopted Chris & Robbie?)
Haven't logged on to this site for a long time--have since moved from Malverne, NY to Princeton, NJ, husband Joe is retired, I am semi-retired. Delighted to see the growth of this site, and to read all the many comments, messages, etc. Hope one day to be able to meet some of you. Joe is attending a WWII reunion of the 100th Army division which this year is in TAMPA, Sept. 6/9 2001. Anyone else involved in that? Rose

I was very pleased to find this site and I want to know if we are related. Our family came from Sicily and believed our spelling was "cci" and the immigration folks made it "gi". How can I find out if we are the same family?! There is a bunch of us in Cleveland Ohio. Where do I start? What a wonderful find! Please let me hear from someone.

Matt, This is a great site! What a wonderful way to give everyone the opportunity to communicate in one place and share experiences. This would be a great project--I would like to discuss it with you if that would be okay. Thanks!

Hi Folks; Just recieved a copy of the St. Augustine Record. They asked the people of St. Augustine a few months ago to submit "who they thought did the most to make St. Johns County what it is today." On March 28, 1999 the winners were posted and among them was John Versaggi (1906-1996). If you are interested in reading this tribute, please go to the following URL. http://www.staugustine.com/topcitizens/

Hi. I'm a long time friend of Zina Versaggi Graalfs. We met in grade school and parted quite sadly when Joe and Josy moved their clan to Florida in 1959. Over the years we kept in touch up but then lost contact until today (1/15/99). The Versaggi web site is amazing - as is the family I knew and grew up with. Have a healthy, prosperous and wonderful 1999! Bette

I am also the grandniece of Brother John Versaggi in Tampa. Great web site! When is the family tree going to be posted? It sounds like you have a lot of figuring out to do! I have two sisters Diane, Linda and myself Carol. Diane has married Tom Lucey and has two children, Daniel Joseph and Kaitlyn Mary. I am recently married to Albert Joseph Schilling. Good Luck with the family tree!

As I haven't signed your guest book yet and I would like to get out the word of the 12 pages, and growing, of Versaggi genealogy I have compiled, I thought I'de do it now. Visit my site at the above URL, go a few pages in and you'll find the Genealogy pages. Thanks again Matt for this site. It was from here I have been able to make many contacts as well as get much information to put this Versaggi genealogy together.
Great web page!!!!
I came to view your free for all links page only to find it censored down :( Hope it's back up soon. If you like music, check out my music site.
Friends of Rick and Kelly.
i love the site haya
Like so many others, I was playing around with the Search engine, and thought I'd try my name, and see what I obtained for results. Look what I found. My dad Giuseppe (Joe), is the son of Salvatore, who emigrated from Augusta in the early thirties. His mother was Rosa Caramagno, so you can see why I was intrigued. The first few lines of your unofficial family history helped further my family tree by a generation or two. Thanks, oh, and if anyone knows of a continuing connection, let me know.
Just wanted to say hi. I looked at your the pictures of your father, Mary and Trudy and shared it with Sue. That picture was taken in our living room. As you may not know, Jason is planning on waiting to purchase a computer until after he completes his air craft carrier duty. Will let you know. Tell Mary we said Hi. Love Bob and Sue.
I hope your links page is back up again soon.
I'll hope this site will be fully functional again.
Hi Matt! I'm the daughter of Robert and Diane Versaggi, Granddaughter of Sam and Katherine Versaggi, great granddaughter of Salvator and Tina Versaggi of Wildwood, NJ. It's great to know we're so many. I'm only eight years old and just starting to communicate via e-mail. I hope to be in touch with you all. BTW - my uncle Anthony Versaggi says hello.
Hello. I'm the daughter of Domenick DiFranco, son of Gemma Versaggi DiFranco, daughter of Anthony Versaggi, who came from Sicily. I am also the grandniece of Brother John in Tampa. A few years ago, Brother John wrote "The Versaggi Saga", a history of the family. Has anyone seen this? Let me know if you want one. He also collected family recipes and made a book. Yummy. I hear he is looking for more for a second edition... Does anyone know if there is a family relationship with Adelina Patti, opera singer from a few years back? Great pictures, there is no doubt in who the Versaggi men are! Thanks, Linda
Hello all. Enjoyed seeing all of the reunion pictures. As soon as I get a faster PC, I'll visit this site often. My family has enjoyed the hospitality and love of the Versaggi family for many years. Now the grandchildren enjoy an occasional vist to the beach house. Much Love always! Joan Wagner

Hello everyone! Yes, I am here! I'm studying a lot of English at DEPAUL University! My classes are hard, but I'm doing my best as much as I can. I was happiest to meet all of you, sweetest and dearest Versaggi's in America! First of all let me thank Zina, so caring and loving...her warmth persuaded me to come here. Thank you for everything of you gave me, love, kindness, words of welcome. In my mind are impressed forever the tender tears of uncle Dominic, when he saw me. I was to him the smell of the orange flowers, the song of our language, the nostalgia of our land... A special thanks to those who said to me that their fathers would have been happy to meet me... And...last but not least... thanks to those who spoken only with eyes, but were able to say so much... Our history, our lives are linked to the sea... Thanks Matt...this is our harbour...
Hi y'all: My sister-in-law in California just called me to tell me about web site called "found money". There are five Versaggi's listed: Diane Versaggi, Frank Versaggi, Mildred Versaggi, and Rose Versaggi is listed twice. For the Versaggi's with this name, you may want to check it out. I have no idea if it is a hoax but for $9.95 it may be worth a try. Good luck! The address is www.foundmoney.com Zina
